What is a Beta Reader?
Many indie authors recruit a team of dedicated readers to read their books prior to release. You receive the book completely FREE of charge!
Beta Readers help the author by helping spot any errors or silly mistakes that may not have been caught yet. Once approved, you will receive a link where you will be able to download the book in digital form and begin reading right away.
A FREE Book Before Release? What's the Catch?
Not much. Each Beta Reader will receive a questionnaire at the end to provide valuable feedback. Aside from helping to catch any errors before release, I humbly request my Beta Readers to leave a review of the book on Amazon at launch.
New books on Amazon - even sequels - can be vulnerable to early review bombs from bots, internet trolls, and other unsavory types. Amazon also puts a higher weight on lower reviews, pulling the whole average down. A single 1 or 2 star review can take scores of 5 stars to counterbalance. Early genuine reviews on the book can help to offset these actions.
Love the book? Spread the word! - Another way you can help is just by letting people know about it.
How Can I Join The Team?
To join my team of Beta Readers and get your FREE digital copy, simply complete the form below and be sure to include a link to an Amazon review that you have left for a book. Any book at all by any author. This is merely to confirm that you are willing to leave reviews on Amazon, which is a huge benefit to having Beta Readers.
CHECK YOUR SPAM!
Once you complete your request, you should receive an email from me within 24-48 hours with more information on how to access your book. These emails often end up in SPAM folders, so please be sure to check and add me to your safe sender’s list.
If you missed the window for a Beta Copy, you can still sign up to be added to the team for the next book.
